The boys and girls in Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 have busy creating artwork based on Remembrance day.
Remembrance Day marks the end of the First World War in 1918, and traditionally involves a pause for silent reflection at the 11th hour of the 11th day in the 11th month. As a school, we listened to a Remembrance poem and listened to the 'Last post'. We then stood for the 2 minutes silence.
Throughout the week we have been supporting the poppy appeal, with all monies raised to go to help support the Armed Forces community.
